Ocean Walker swim camps take place around the World, and you will be coached by Adam Walker, the first British person to conquer the Oceans7 (Hardest 7 channel crossings in the World). Adam has developed his stroke technique so that he could swim efficiently for hours and with less effort.
If you are a swimmer looking to improve on your stroke technique then we have a selection of swimming camps available for you to choose from.
Pool swim camps - it is not always possible to swim in open water, especially through the winter, so we will be holding small group stroke technique classes in selected pools around the UK.
Beginners/refresher courses for those of you who are new to open water swimming, or a bit out of practice.
1 day open water swim camps that touch on the basics of psychology in open water and other swimming techniques for beginners to intermediate level
1 day open water stroke masterclasses and 5 day courses in destinations around the UK and Worldwide. These more intense courses are aimed at open water swimmers who are training for triathlons, iron man or channel swims, and these courses are more indepth with psychology, training plans, nutrition, breathing and sighting techniques plus channel solo and relay qualifiers.
See video below giving examples of what you can expect from an Ocean Walker Swim Camp.
Adam gets in the water with you himself and each person gets one to one time with him to learn his techniques in open water.
This is why we keep the group sizes to a maximum of 10 people, to ensure every one of you receives quality time on your swim camp.
(If you have a group of swimmers that would like to arrange your own swim camp with Adam Walker at your local pool, lake or bay, please get in touch)
