DAY 1 - SWIM STROKE MASTERCLASS POOL
10am - 6pm (Lunch provided)

This is a mixture of classroom theory and pool swimming sessions. You will be filmed from start to finish as we move from your current swimming stroke, through the 5 stages to learn the Ocean Walker stroke technique. Watching back your progress over the course of the day and seeing the difference in your technique as your stroke evolves.

You will learn a technique that focuses on core rotation and relaxation. Generating power that comes from the hip rather than smashing arms and thrashing legs.
Improve your speed and/or endurance for leisure, events or long distance - with less impact on the shoulders, arms and legs.

Location: Glyn Innes Pool, Auckland

New Zealand Sea Swimming

DAY 2 - SEA SWIMMING
9am - 1:30pm (Refreshments provided)

We begin with a quick re-cap of the technique you have just learned before heading out to sea where you can put the new stroke into action. We will practice breathing and sighting while maintaining your newly aquired body position in the water.

There are changing rooms and showers on the beach front
Location: St Helliers Bay, Auckland

Following the camp, you will receive your video footage along with a link to Adams 5 stage videos PLUS a downloadable PDF, so you can practice in your own time.
